Are the shoes worth the amount I am going to spend on them? Sometimes we can overlook the price of shoes just because we like them and we buy them in the heat of the moment, and its not only some time after you think to yourself they were expensive for what they are. If they are a name or a designer shoe then you can expect to pay quite a bit but if they are not and they are still quite expensive ask yourself if it is worth it.
Do I have a similar pair of shoes at home? More often than not we see pairs of shoes we like that are quite similar to pairs of shoes we have at home. If you nee to replace a certain pair of shoes then it is fine to buy a new pair in the same style but if you already have 4 pairs similar it is probably best to leave it.
Do they really fit and will they be comfortable? We can often see a pair of shoes we like and go to try them on but the shop doesn’t have your size. Don’t make the mistake of thinking I can squeeze into a size smaller or I can buy insoles and get the larger size. Generally speaking it doesn’t often work out according to plan and you find you wear them once and they were so uncomfortable you never wear them again.
