The difference is a) you can visit all the websites without travelling so much as a yard, b) check whether they have the shoes or boots you like in stock, if not you can find another site that has, and c) buy your shoes and boots online and get them delivered to your door.
Another benefit of shopping on line for shoes and boots is the cost. These websites are in competition with each other, their overheads on the internet are nothing like that of a high street store.
